Dog Days at the Pool

Sanborn Pool is going to the dogs on August 14. Come and celebrate the Dog Days of Summer and the final day at the pool for the 2019 Season. All dogs should be dog (and people) friendly. All canines must be spayed or neutered, have a rabies vaccine, and we strongly suggest a Distemper/Parvo and a Bordetella vaccine. Owners need to provide written proof of these vaccinations on the day of the event. Dog tags do not count. Dogs will not be permitted in the pool without verification of this information.

Sandcastle Contest for Kids

Get castle creative with us this summer! Do you have a sandcastle builder living with you? Sign up for this free sandcastle contest at Lakeside beach! Each sculptor will have one hour to complete their castle from start to finish. Please bring your own supplies. Prizes will be awarded to multiple winning castles. Treats will be provided for all participants! Adult must accompany child and be present during the contest. Pre-registration is required by July 11. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place on July 18, same time. Free Event.

Attention Senior Citizens! Come join us for the annual “Senior Picnic” featuring entertainment, lunch and refreshments. This free event is co-sponsored by St. Clair County Council on Aging and Port Huron Parks and Recreation.
